I was looking at the spikes tactical website and they have a complete .22LR upper available. Now my .223 AR has the prince 50 in it. So if I take off the .223 upper and put on the .22LR upper, then I can legally loosen allen screw to use removable magazines, right? Since I made it a rimfire rifle, right? Then if I want to switch back to the .223 upper I would have to first lock in the 10 round .223 magazine, then I could put the .223 upper back on. If this is correct, I may get one and try to make it as close to my .223 upper as possible to be able to train with magazine swaps and for the much much much cheaper ammo! Thanks in advance!
