    9mm uppers...

I know this one has been done-

Found a 9mm kit, COMPLETE. Flattop, 16", bolt carrier, stock, buffer, tube, mag adapter, Fire control, lower parts kit, all but the clip itself for $600.

From what I can find, this is even less than any wholesale outfit offers for all the necessay components to make a 9mm work. Anyone know where to beat this price?

After some responses, I'll put up info on the company- they have no website...???

I'm looking for a complete RRA rifle or kit but it's really dry out there. Are these RRA kits? Even Gunbroker has none for sale. More info please.

Bro- that $600 is for the EVERYTHING but the lower. That;s why I'm excited!

        means- <$800 for whole rifle.

            What parts does that include?

This is what I have so far:

            Dane Armory Lower - $150
            + DROS/2 (Bought two OLLs on one DROS) + tax = $180.62

            Magpul CTR stock - $91.99
Magpul MIAD grip kit - $43.99
            Stag carbine mil-spec receiver extension - $30.99
Stag carbine action spring - $2.99
+ tax and shipping for the above four items = $189.53

            RRA 9mm Hammer - $15.00
            RRA 9mm Buffer Assembly - $25.00
            + tax and shipping = $48.26

Now all I need is the complete upper, probably RRA, a magazine block, and 10 round magazine.
            + approx. $490 for the upper, $210 for a Hanh magblock, + $50 for 10/30 magazine = $750

For an approximate total of $1168.41.

Had I not gone with MIAD grip, subtract approximately $44.
Regular Stag Carbine stock? Subtract $90.
RRA magblock instead of Hanh - Subtract $50

Which makes the build about $1030. Not too bad for a fully functional 9mm carbine.

I could save even more money on the magazine by having relatives in another state ship me disassembled standard capacity ones. I would then modify them here to only accept ten rounds.

$600 is very reasonable for an upper with all the rest of necessary parts.

I think $1300 for a complete rifle is a little outrageous, and it was mentioned that you'd spend "over $1300".

You how the saying goes - the more money you make...

I agree though, $800 for a complete rifle would be great.

I was thinking about a 9mm also but i just had one question. I think i know the answer but i still want to make sure, since its a 9mm does it still apply to the assault weapons ban requiering a fixed magazine or the pistol grip stuff or can you just have a normal AR with all those great "evil" features?

The kit comes with EVERYTHING. That means EVERYTHING but the stripped lower. Car stock included. Fire control and lower parts. Buffer tube, buffer and spring. Mag wel conversion. Barrel. Reciever. Bolt, complete. Bolt Carrier. Charging handle. Dust cover. Forward assist. Front sight/gas block. Gas tube. Flash hider/brake. Grip. uhhh... if I missed anything it was in error. The kit comes with everything to finish the gun, except the OLL, and the magazines. Uses the "modified uzi mag" These can be had anywhere- 10rd, is a little harder.
