    Yugo 59/66 Problems

I bought this gun a couple of years ago, it always has had light strike problems.
I have changed the gas tube and seal, put a new bolt and firing pin in. I finally figured out if I load a single round in it, it fires. When I put more than one round in the mag, I get light strikes, seems like something is preventing a solid strike to the primer. any suggestions? I am getting fed up with this gun. I have 2 russians and a chinese, both work great. I am entertaining a trade.

yeah i would start with cleaning out the bolt/firing pin thoroughly

if that doesn't fix the problem look into getting a new hammer and/or hammer springs.

i've shot over 250 rounds through my unissued 59/66 all wolf commercial ammo and only had 1 FTF and blamed the ammo, the primer was definitely dented real well
