    Smith 308 Brake

I thought Smith made a brake in this model for the AR 10 also - am I mistaken? Can't find it anywhere on line.

I have this on my M1A, but I assume it has different threading (5/8x24) than the M1A - although when I bought it I seem to recall something about dual threading? This thing won't screw on to standard AR 10 type threading, correct?

I see Smith has an AR 10 threaded brake in their "M1A" kit - I don't need the other items, just the brake.

I see they have item #1005 in 30 cal, but I was looking for the type that doesn't need to be indexed such as item #2015 or #1007. Theses types also slip over the barrel a bit and I prefer that look to the nut or washer. The brake is going on a T/C Encore in 300 Win Mag so I'd like a little cleaner look.
