    First AR Build-Stoopid Simple

Vulcan Lower (Fired ~100 times and hasnt blown up even once!)
Stag 0H Upper with a brake
    Palmetto Armory Magpul LPK
    DPMS Stock
    Troy Fixed Rear Sight
Weighs 6.5 LBS with a 10 round mag

I wanted something light and small that would keep shooting bad guys after being kicked around.

                +1, I'm curious too.

Im into the rifle ~$600 and traded 300 rounds of 308 reloads to a friend. So about $650 total. It shoots well enough to chop down a smaller dead tree at 40 yards

Very nice. Looks like it will do the job.
I looked at the Palmetto Armory Magpul LPK because I wanted to see what premium you paid for the upgraded grip and trigger guard.
Wow! $53? That's a great price for ANY LPK.
One question though, is that a slot-head screw for the PG?! Why? An allen-head screw wasn't difficult enough to install?

                          Well done, none-the-less.

The magpul grip comes with a pan head screw with blue lock tight

What advice would you give to someone interested in doing the same? Looking to get an AR but would like to get it the cheapest way possible.
