Knowing the general price of Nighthawk 1911s, that looks pretty expensive. Probably around $5k I'd guess if not more.

i'm a big KAC and nighthawk fan, but i think that set takes golf ball dimpling way too far. the 1911 and AR grip are way ugly imo. retail as i recall is in the $9000 range for both.

Barring the fact that whoever designed this abomination had the design sense of a Puerto Rican Country Singer with no eyes, I personally don't feel AR's and 1911's go together in a "beauty" package, because the AR-15 is not a "beautiful" gun in the traditional sense.

A beautiful combo would be a lovingly finished Remington in an expensive hardwood, a well-made, non-tactical hunting knife and my Grandfather's 1911. A badass combo would be a Kimber Desert Warrior and corresponding Piston AR with matching paint job (and definitely without any dimpling of any kind), and would be something I'd want. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

I played with it a bit at Shot Show 2010. I think it's a pretty cool package but way too expensive. Knights retail initially at Shot was $7500 but it sure did go up.
