    new upper

OK, I bougt new upper for my registered Bushmaster lower with a flat top receiver and fixed front sight. Would this A.R.M.S.#40 http://www.mountsplus.com/miva/merch..._GAS_BLOCKS/40 rear sight work with it?

Did anybody use this scope on your rifle? http://www.grsc.com/combatriflescope.php What quick detach mount did you use for it? What rings will place it above the front sight? Thanks.

i guess arms 40 should be fine if everything is "milspec" the rings should be fine even if it cowitnesses ( lines up with the sights) if u have some magnification it will disapear and wont be a headache

Should work out well. As far as the QR mount, the Larue SPR is great.

I can NOT co-witness irons with the scope. It got to be on the bottom 1/4, because there are a few ranging circles/dots on the lower part of scope's reticle for range finding/longer range shooting. I was thinking about plasing it above the irons, but there won't be good chick-to-butstock weld. Thanks for your input.

Midway has the Millet 1-4 DMS scope for $200 right now which is the exact same scope as the GSRC except that millet is a first focal plane circle/dot reticle vs. the GSRC's 2nd focal plane BDC reticle.

On an A2 stocked rifle, you can get away nicely with a LaRue SPR 1.5 mount
On a carbine stocked gun, you will want the LaRue SPR-E mount.

DMS-1 with Larue SPR 1.5. I relief is good for me, YMMV. At 1x you can see the front sight post in the lower 3rd of the scope but it is not distracting or in the way.
