Just to verify, there is no legal way to build a new CA legal center-fire rifle that is less than 30 inches in its shortest configuration...right?

Thanks for the ideas. I actually kind of like the sound of that zero round magazine option. I could pull that off by using a bullet button to permanently affix a fully blocked up magazine making it a single shot. Then when I move out of state, eg for my yearly hunting trip, the rifle could be converted back to semi-auto (with the proper tool).Comment
