I remember seeing a stock for the M1a that looked like a really futuristic spaceship but I can't recall the manufacturer. I know it's not much to go by, but all I can say it's heavy and expensive looking, akin to something straight out of a sci-fi movie.

I was dead set on getting a JAE stock, but after shooting a friends, I passed and was happy I never ordered one. The stock is HEAVY. Heavy to the point it is impractical to hold steady and fire a string of shots accurately from the shoulder/standing position...that is, unless you really work out. Consider your M14 a bench or prone rifle if you get that stock. I always felt the M14 was a iron sight type rifle which IMO takes real skill....scope, bipod, and bench is just too easy.Last edited by Astig Boy; 08-30-2007, 9:54 AM.Comment

Better yet, show up to a match. You'd clean up!
To the OP: If you want a nice stock for a prone/bench gun, the JAE-100 is very nice. Being heavy, it may not be the best idea for a walking/hunting rifle.GAP Team Shooter 5Comment
