Fav Detachable Mag Bottom Metal for bolt action rifles

Is it important to you to be able to use AICS mags?

Do you want an easily accessible magazine release button?

    Easy to install?

Sound off calgunners....who makes the grade? who doesn't ? Wyatts, Badger, Seekins, CDI, H&S.....

Pros and cons? horror stories with installation? Let's hear it!

Badger Ordnance M5 all the way. I own 4 different rifles with them and they are easy in, easy out, and easy to manipulate fast while competing.

As far as bottom metal is concerned, make sure you get something that is compatible with Accuracy International (AI) magazines. These are pretty much the defacto standard out there for bolt guns and are of good quality.

CDI works great and have had no problems at all. Mine for a savage by the way.

CDI is the only alternative for FN SPR, that I know of - and it works great.

CDI with AICS mags on a 700P for me, even fit into the factory HS Precision stock. I'm sure the others are fine as well.
