There's so many comparable options available here in California. Why do adamant on BCM, which is probably not in stock anyway?

WOW! I'm overwhelmed by the amount of good advice I got overnight from the forum members. Just outstanding, everyone! Thanks to all who have posted, and advance thanks to those who post today or afterward.

When I get it all together, I'll post some photos of the beast. And for those that advised patience, well, consider my user name: I've got the patience of Job after years of having to deal with some of the vermin, dullards, and uncultured swine I've met out on the road. All those people you shake your fist at while you're driving? Yeah, I get to meet them up close and personal, have a chat, and figure out the best way how to keep them from wrecking your day or killing you (and me, too).

Keep the advice coming, fellow CGers! And I hope to see some of you at the Ontario gun show this weekend.

Honestly, I think BCM is shooting themselves in the foot with they out-of-stock issues. I heard "BCM is great stuff!" So I went there to buy their expensive stuff. It's all out of stock ... constantly. I ended up with something else. If you go to their website 80% of things are out of stock. How many (high priced!) sales have they lost? They shouldn't squander their excellent rep by not keeping up with production. If they are afraid quality will decline with increased production, they should hire enough people to make sure it doesn't. I dunno, I got tired of waiting for things to be "in stock" and the "AR-15 madness" passed over me and I saved a few bucks going elsewhere.

But if it's what you want, you just gotta wait.

You clearly dont understand manufacturing procedures. I think BCM will do just fine without your advice.
