I am ready to sell off some of my Garands and Carbines for a 308. I am familiar with the POF but am looking for some options.... Scar 17s or build up a 308 AR or...?

The POF-USA P308s are very nice rifles. If you have a stocking dealer, great for you. If your dealer needs to order one, good luck. POF has been on a long backorder

If you want an AR platform, buy a LMT MWS or get a Noveske lower and Armalite AR-10 upper and "roll your own" CA legal.

If you want a bolt gun, Remington 700 pss is a cheap way to get into it, and customize later.

Fals, fake HK 91s all require bullet buttons and spotty mag availability.
Clearly if you're selling your Garands you don't want an M1A, but a *****ing little Socom II is pretty cool..
