Although I don't have their AR15 lower, I would expect the lower to be of extremely high quality.
    +1.

LRB's M14 products are top notch. I've had several LRB lowers in in the past and they worked well for my builds. At some point I'd like to pick up one of their M14 receivers but at 1K...it's way down on my priority list.

Thanks for all the responses, sounds like the LRB lowers are a good choice. The FFL I ordered them from is a good guy and I know he wouldn't steer me wrong. I read a few dated internet reviews and there were a couple posts about some minor problem or another with LRB lowers. I wasn't sure if the problems were from the receiver or the person installing the parts on the receiver. I had a feeling it was probably the latter of the two so I figured I'd ask here. Good to know they are quality pieces!

That's some classic CalGuns mentality right there. Like somehow their aircraft grade aluminum is of higher quality than an LRB or Del-Ton for that matter. During the Obama scare I bet a buddy of mine that I could build an AR15 for under $600. He said it could not be done. I ended up at $597 for a complete Del-Ton upper, Kaiser Defense lower, Stag LPK, Tapco stock, and NcStar carry handle. All brand new. I've put almost 3000 rounds down the barrel and have yet to have any issues with it. It's accurate as hell out to 100 yards and get this....I haven't even cleaned it yet.

LRB FORGES M14 lowers that are very expensive and high end. I'd imagine they know how to forge an ar lower at 1/10 the cost
