I cant stand the "I lost somebody to guns so now everybody should not own them!" argument.

I lost my best friend, among others, to guns.

Maybe I should start crying as a pro-firearm lobbyist in front of politicians and ask, "would my friends be here today if they were armed and able to protect themselves?"
