    Dreaming of an M240

I know I want one. Mag 58 or M240. Parts kits OK. Convert to closed bolt semi auto. Where to get parts?

I don't blame you. I fell in love with the M240 after the first time I shot one.

I had no idea the rounds the M240 used was 7.62x51.. I thought they used 5.56!

I can disassemble, assemble, function check, and load the M240G in my sleep. Used to do speed drills with our eyes closed. M240 is decent weapon, but M134 is better. Seriously, changing barrels in the **** sucks and is often not possible. I had my coax barrel glowing as red as Darth Vader's lightsaber and could see the bullets passing through. When the loader tried to change it, his asbestos mittens steamed and let off some noxious fumes. You could say a few 'killing bursts' went through that thing.
