Partial Saiga Conversion Questions

I want to buy a Saiga and have it converted to use my legally owned AK mags, but remain featureless. I guess this is called a partial conversion. Once I have the actual Saiga rifle is there anywhere in L.A. that does these types of mods? In other words, all stock Saiga except it takes AK mags..

To use ak mags in your saiga you will need to get a bullet guide which can be purchased from Here, Do a search for bullet guide. You will need to check if your trunnion is flat or rounded and order accordingly. Also the mag catch will need to be filled down a bit, nothing to hard. With a little time and patience you should be able to do the work your self.

I appreciate that information and it seems the parts are pretty cheap. Some of us are just mechanically disinclined.
