400 Yds Steel at ASR Video

I'm sorry I don't know how to rotate this video. It was taken by a friends camera/phone. This is my 50DTC rifle at ASR a few weeks back. Listen and you can hear the round hit the steel. Shooting 650 grain copper solids.

Is that the only range steel you can shoot at ASR 400yd red plate? other than taking your own targets out, I would like to shoot out further with my 50 but dont want to get yelled at.

They have steel out to 600 at ASR. I was told to only shoot the red steel at 400+yds. There is a little red pig out at 600 and if you hit it just right it will fall off its stand.

Its a BOHICA upper. And Kerplow, I will only go to ASR during the week from now on. Weekends up there are pretty hectic.

400 yards? Didn't they put the little pig back up at 600? When I was there last Wednesday, I knocked it off the hanger with my ALS upper. I could hear my hits at 400 shooting 108 grain frangibles out of one of my K31s with irons. But, I've never shot my 50s at that giant 400 yard square. I just dont see any challenge in it unless, I'm shooting irons or a 50 offhand. Yea, I've shot one of mrkobota's 50s offhand at that big square.
