Remington 710

i just purchased a used REMINGTON 710 30.06 rifle and was wondering where is the cheapest place for me to buy ammo..... i went to a few local GUN SHOPS and the ammo is 22bucks for a box of 20

where can i get cheap ammo? ( am not hunting, just gonna mess around )

Best place I've found for 30.06 is CMP. ~.50/round.

You need to jump through CMP's hoops to become eligible to buy, but if you're looking to buy American surplus rifles it's one of the best investments you can make.

Other than CMP be prepared to pay upwards of $1.00/round for 30.06.

so CMP is the only place i can buy Surplus ammo? or is there any other online stores that carrie 30.06? am willing to buy 500 rounds

CMP isn't the only place... it's just the cheapest place.
