??AR-10 Platform??

Thinking about buying or building up a AR-10 .308 platform. Noveske's "Project Leonidas" got me all excited.

My question is all the accessories like collapsed stock, pistol grip, buffer tubes. Mainly pistol grip and trigger guard are the size measurements,platform,install as a AR15, right?

For the most part, yes. Typically you only have to worry about handguards and charging handles.

Are the only parts specific to the 308 platform. All other AR-15 parts should work.

Kool, thanks guys. I'm digging the Starks Equipment, Pistol grip that has the trigger guard attached as one piece. I was at my uncles house and comparing both lowers AR10 and AR15 and the pistol grip and guard looked identical let alone I measured it. Just wanted clarification, thank you again!

now the list is complete LOL, when I built mine I was led astray by many people.. of the AR10 and the AR15 variant (yes there are two different platforms) the AR15 variant is the best, you will notice items marked dpms compatible and armalite compatible, this is because the 2 are very different lowers and require different parts. the only "AR10" part you will use is the PRS stock if you choose, you order them in AR10 because of the charging handle clearances.

Don't forget buffer tube.The .308 tube is 3/4 inch longer.If you use slash buffer,(the .308 buffer is also longer) ,you can use a regular buffer tube and AR-15 colsp.stock .
