    Triple A's In Vallejo, CA

This place is always stocked up with AR, handguns, and shotguns. However, they charge way too much for their handguns and their customer service sucks! Was talking to one of their sales guys and dude uses way too much foul language just to answer whether or not they do smithing. Plus, the guy wont even look at me while I was trying to ask him questions. I mean if you think you're hard just because you carry a gun, then maybe you need to step outside and try getting choked out. Damn! :::rant over:::

Sorry, I'm just disgusted with these guys, and I need to vent my frustrations. They are the only dependable gun shop in Vallejo and yet they don't treat their potential customers with respect.

That's odd... the last time I was there, I thought the service was great. I would go there over Guns Fishing and Other Stuff anyday.

I was just there 2 days ago asking all kinds of questions about a possible first time AR purchase. The store was busy, but sales guy spent alot of time with me explaining all diffrent AR setups I could choose. I was being a difficult customer with 1001 questions. I felt well attended to. I will go back there anyday. To bad you didn't get the same treatment I did.

This is the exact opposite of what I have experienced there.

Ive never had issues with them. They used to be my local shop and I (along with friends) have made purchases with them.

They can be a bit blunt, which I prefer because I always took as a "forget the B.S. lets get down to business" attitude. Despite having been a professional salesman for years, I cant tell you howmuch more I prefer that attitude.

Their prices can be bit high, BUT contrary to their signs all over the walls, you can haggle with them. Dont make a spectacle of it though, thats when they become stand offish

The service there can suck depending on who you get at the counter. The two younger guys seem like they could care less if you buy anything. Especially the big guy. I'll bet he's the one the OP said wouldn't look him in the eye. The older white dude is very helpful and friendly, tho.

As for their prices, they suck for almost anything other than the guns themselves, which are reasonable. eg. $90 sticker on a DPMS LPK! Pistols and rifles can be had there for competitive prices, tho.

I have always got good deals and great service there. The only problem is the high transfer fees. They have always been very 2a friendly and answered all my questions quick, direct, and respectfully.

After the first time stopping by they remembered my name and shook my hand.

If you really ha an issue with someone try talking Aristotle.

Other than that if you need a new good 2a friendly ffl you will have to go all the way to woodland as far as I know. Most other ffl in the area suck (that I have visited)

I've never had any issues with them..the more you visit the better it gets...I did notice on my last visit that someone behind the counter smelled of alcohol...not good IMO..some prices are good, some fair and some not so good...but when your the only show in town and have a good product line you charge what people are willing to pay.
You can buy there or drive to another shop...your time and your fuel..now how much did you save???..All the shops, Cordelia exchange, City Arms East and triple A are the same price in the Glock arena +/-..Your next choice is Guns Fishing and ...what ever or Center Mass..other than that it's Sac

Try City Arms East,,it's about 15-20 min from triple A's...Clean & friendly..lots of stuff but it's a premium price...Everyone has to pay rent & electricity, salaries & product..I'm willing to pay their electric bill.. LOL

Not at all, I'm always courteous when asking questions, especially if I don't know anything about the topic.

Sorry to hear about your experience there, especially since Triple A's happens to be one of my favorite gunshops in the entire Bay Area. The owner, Aris, is an exceptionally stand up guy who has always been more than fair to me and my friends (Hint: you'll never have to pay full sticker price if you're willing to haggle a little bit). Maybe the younger guys behind the counter there can seem a bit disinterested at times, but they will still take the time to help you out and answer all your questions. Besides, if you're searching for some tender loving care go talk to your girlfriend, don't look for it in a gunshop.

Had the exact opposite experience from the OP.

Well maybe it's just me taking everything seriously, but in all seriousness I wouldn't be foul-mouthing a customer especially if they're just asking a few questions. Thanks for your input guys.
