    7.62x39 AR15 wont feed.

My 7.62x39 AR is having problems feeding correctly. Ill rack the charging handle and the round will get stuck on the feed ramp. The gun is immaculately clean and oiled so I know thats not the issue.

On a 2nd problem is why the hell is it so hard to load a clip? I have 3 clips all C products. Two 10 rounds and one 30 round and each clip is very hard to load. And it seems like the rounds kind of have free movement inside the clips. Is this how its supposed to be? And the round on top always sits at an angle.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Ill post some detailed pics of the problem later. Thanks in advance.

They are not clips, but magazines. And that is probably the issue. Failing 7.62x39 c product mags are very common.

get yourself some new magazines, if its hard to load due to spring pressure take the mag apart and cut off some of the spring little by little testing it each time till its easier to load. that what ive done with my Sten mags and they work perfectly. those dam things were designed to be all most impossible to load by hand without the quick load tool. anyways that could be part of your problem i had a 10/30 ak mag i bought that was extremely hard to load due to the spring, if i loaded the 10th round the fit was so tight from the pressure of the spring that when the bolt was racked it only stripped the round half way out and got stuck.

You're certain you have CProducts magazines specifically for the 7.62X39? I first bought some other brand in 6.8 because the guy selling told me they were the same - they're not and of course didn't work. The CProducts in X39 have worked perfectly for me.

Aftermarket mags are usually the cause of feeding failures!

Yea I'm sure they are true 7.62x39 mags meant for an AR. And if not C products then from which manufacturer would I get it from?

Who manufactured the upper? Does it have extended m4 feedramps? Does it do the same thing if you load less than 10rds?

Aeroprecision upper w/ I think standard M4 feedramps. And yea the mags do the same thing even with 1 or 2 rounds.

Try brass ammo and stronger buffer tube

PMC or other ammo in brass case. Tubb flat spring to solved cycling problem. Also try heavy buffer. Keep in mind most lower kits designed for 223/556
                  Good luck shooting,

I saw another 7.62 x 39 AR with this issue. C-Product mags are hit and miss it appears.
The OP of the other thread I read opened the feed ramps up slightly and took care of the feeding issue.
