Anyone used a Samson Evolution forearm yet?

I have the 12" version on the way for a ground up upper build. I have a Mega Billet lower... So I ordered a Mega forged upper receiver, Noveske bolt-on low pro gas block, Centurion 16" midlength light barrel, Rainier Thunderbolt BCG, and a ACC Blackout FH. The sum of parts is no big deal..... just want to see if anyone has had experience with the forearm??

looks like samson's answer to the troy trx extreme rail. I suppose just like the Troy MRF vs the Samson counterparts, they will be very similar in overall quality

I like the heat sync that is installed around the barrel nut....... Also the fact that it uses a standard barrel nut.

I just installed a 7" EX version for my gas piston carbine setup. Installation is quite a work but overall the forearm is awesome in look and quality. If you have a low profile GI block then installation is a breeze. There are youtube clips on several installation methods by Samson for the Evolution Series.
