So I'm taking gun smithing classes at Lassen Community College until my normal schooling begins in the fall. In order to pass the class, I need to perform an epoxy bedding job on a flat bottom receiver, round bottom receiver, and a firearm with a two-part stock (lever action or pump shotgun). It turns out that all I have are flat bottom receivers.
I can't afford to buy new guns so I was wondering if anybody could loan me a Remington 700 rifle (synthetic stock preferred) and a pump action (the professor recommended a Rem 870 w/wood stock) or lever action (with wood stock) for the week of the 25th of this month. As my thanks to you, I will perform an epoxy bedding job on the gun and return it to you after the class ends. I would like to pick up the guns ASAP and I would have them back to you on the 30th.
I am expecting a lot of PMs for some free work so here are the conditions:
-The generous loaner must have positive Itraderfeedback. I want to talk to the loaner before even picking anything up. I just want to make sure I'm dealing with a nice guy with a flexible schedule should I need extra time to return the firearm.
-I will consider people with no Itrader feedback if I can reach you by phone and I deem you to be flexible with my school schedule for pick-up and return of the firearm.
-I can't drive far to pick up the rifle(s) so they MUST be in sacramento.
-Loaned guns must be loaned to me UNLOADED please! Also, there must be NO ammo in any compartments, ect... Ammo is NOT allowed on campus.
-A case should be provided with any loaned firearm. I don't have extra cases and the gun lockers at school are not padded.
-I take excellent pride in my work and I have never failed to do a quality job. However, it is important that the loaner be easygoing about accidental dinks or scratches. I'll do my absolute best to give your firearm back to you in the best pristine condition but sometimes you can accidently bump into a bench vise, ect...
-I do NOT want to be loaned any rare or high value firearms. Firearms theft has never happened on campus but I want it to be clear that I am not responsible for theft in the unlikely event that it occurs. I only have my one assigned locker to store my firearms and the loaners. I am an honest guy, check my Itrader feedback.
If you have any questions PM me with your phone number. When I have all the loans I need, I'll post that I no longer require any loaner guns.
I will give loaners positive Itrader feedback for loaning me the firearm.
Thanks guys!
