Going to shoot my AR at Angeles for first time.

    Hi guys,

So within the next 2 weeks I will be going to Angeles to shoot my Daniel Defense M4V5 for the first time! Never shot a "black rifle" before. I've been there many times for the pistol side.
So, of course the basics, ammo, spotting scope is covered. What else do you suggest for the rifle side? I've seen some recent pics where people have a towel/blanket over the rifle benches, should I do the same? I suspect the concrete seats hurt after awhile?

    Thanks,
    Emil
    Thanks,

Something to lay over the concrete bench top so you're not allowing the concrete surface to degrade the finish on your sweet new rifle.
I use an old army blanket.

i have never shot at angles but it sounds like the benches are concrete i would recommend something to sit on so your butt don't get tired
That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

The tables are concrete and they provide folding metal chairs. Make sure your ammo (projectile) is not magnetic and bring lots of it. Bring friends or just meet people there and have fun.
With all this "gun control" talk, I've not heard one politician say how they plan on taking guns from criminals, just law abiding Citizens.

Also make sure you put up one of those brass deflecting nets. You don't wanna hit the people next to you with flying brass.

Bring some sort of towel or blanket to put over the shooting bench as they are concrete. Target stand that you can rent there. Front rest or bipod? Other than that you do not need to bring anything.

Tools to tighten and adjust the sights.

A cleaning kit; CLP to add lube if it dries out and you start to have FTFs and a metal rod to ram out a FTE.

Hmmm, I guess I will need a front rest then. They have the deflecting nets there, correct? Towel/blankets - check. Tools for sights, cleaning kit, rod, check. Thanks guys!
                          Thanks,

Writting pad, log in the information regarding ammunition and its performance, spotting scope, extra targets, staple gun. Brass deflectors are next to the bench. Blanket over the bench also protects your elbows from the sandpaper like surface of the bench. Plastic bag for your brass, if you reload
                            Front and rear shooting bag,
