    Cycling problem

today i received the final components for AR-10. buffer, spring, tube, etc.. took it to a local indoor range to see if it would fire.. rifle gives me two shots and stops.. my question is.. is it the low grain ammo cause of indoors, after mags i picked up at gun show, or buffer & spring not working.. buffer, spring, tube etc. purchased from Armalite. Info please!!!

I had a similar problem, is your hammer spring on backwards?
Not sure if it is the same on the AR-10

Is this ammo a light load?
Is the bolt carrier group well lubed?

hmm, if its feeding but not firing it could be a bad firing pin, if its not feeding then it could be a weak spring in the mag

Your post is hard to understand, if you could reword your post so you convey the information more clearly. When the malfunction happens, what exactly goes on? does the bolt carrier group go all the way forward with the bolt locking into battery or does it get hung up along the way?

What type of ammunition, brand, new or reloads, weight of bullet?

list of components in the rifle with manufacturer of them all. Need the specs. including the magazines.

Any pictures of the rifle, particularly the guts of the rifle?
