Rossi Lever actions +P loads 45 colt

Will the Rossi Lever action guns handle the +p Loads of a 45 colt My pistol is a blackhawk in 45 colt. I carry the heavy loads in the mountains and want a lever action for more range that uses the same round.

I read up to 27000 psi but normally around 24-25,000

regular loads are in the 10k range

any other info on the Rossi would be appreciated

Reserve use of the maximum pressure loads to Marlin levers - the repop Winchesters may take the pressure, but will be subject to excessive wear on the internals.

A friend of mine ran some hot .45 Colt handloads through his Uberti/Cimmarron and experienced battering of the bolt in under 100 rounds.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Was it because he was shooting them in a Model 1873?

Reproduction model 1892s are pretty solid and should handle +p 45 Colt. There is plenty of information out there that you can find that talks about 45 Colt +p in '92 actions.

I have a 92 Puma in 454. It is specially constructed for big scary pressure. 45LC isn't.

Winchester 94, Marlin 94, and Reproduction '92, rifles can all handle 45 Colt+P. There are many articles online written by prolific gun writers, that show details about their tests with 45 Colt in rifles. Furthermore, I can personally attest that +P loads in a Winchester 94AE are no problem. My favorite load was a 250gr GDHP at 1450fps from a 24" barrel. Not a screamer by any means, but quite powerful for this type of cartridge.

Here are a couple I pulled in a one minute google search:
