    Question about SROS/Transfer

    Hey guys.

Quick question for you. If a friend and I are both going to order lowers, can we order them together and ship them to the same FFL to save on the transfer fee (one costs $55 to transfer and additional are inly $10), but then have them DROS'd seperately. Or are we gonna have to do it all seperate? Maybe it depends on the FFL also. Just wondering if any of you have done it, cause were tryin to save a little money! You input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Probably not since it's two separate DROS's. Never hurts to ask though
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

It is the FFL's policy to charge that rate. So the FFL is probably going to charge you for each DROS they run. Now, if you are that into saving money, you can DROS them both in your name and then turn around and PPT the lower to your budy afterwards.

That means $65 for the transfer and 2nd lower and $25 for DROS plus $35 for the PPT for a total of $125 or $62.5 each.

Or you can just each DROS them for $55 each plus $25 DROS for a total of $80 each. Is the $17.50 cents you save worth it?

If that $55 includes DROS then you just need to suck it up and realize a $30 transfer fee is nothing and quit your penny penching.
