Well I went ahead and did it

I've been looking at the Weatherby Vanguard line for quite awhile and have spoken to some owners here and there. I decided on a Vanguard SUB MOA in 30-06 from Bud's Guns, (pretty good pricing compared to others) and along with the rifle after many hours of research and thought decided to go with one of the new Redfield scopes a Revolution 3-9X50MM.

Also ordered the 1" scope mount direct from Weatherby to avoid any mounting hassles. I went back and forth over my optics choice but after reading many articles and reviews of the new Redfield line I was sold on one.

This was my present to my successful recovery over the last 6 months so I'll be seeing those of you when I can out at the Yolo Sportsmen's Club as soon as I am able.

Good for you! you will be happy I love mine and I have a Mark-V as well, the Vanny is a nicer gun than people give it credit for.
