    sight dimensions

I have a flat top upper with a gasblock on the front. There is a trophy red dot mounted and the center of the sight is 1 inch off the rail, I am looking for a set of sights that either are at the center of the red dot or over the top of it. I don't want to pull the optics off to shoot iron sights. I have not been able to find any sights that give me the dimensions to help me narrow the field down and our local shops don't carry any in stock. Anyone know a brand that includes the heighth of the sight in their tech data. Looking to spend around 300 for both front and rear together.
    Thanks

Ok so I took the EBR out with the Dueck Defense RAPID TRANSITION SIGHTS out. Comfortable to shoot but at 10 yards I was still off to the left by 4 inches with the rear sight cranked all the way over to the right. Had to get that close to see where I was shooting. So I'm guessing I need to rotate the gas block about 1/4 an inch. Well maybe not that far but the fromt sight needs to move over about that much. Heck I don't even know if the gas block will rotate enough and I have 1 of 3 set screws that wont loosen up. Unless anyone has any Ideas other than useing a screw extractor on it I will have to take it to a gun smith. Already broke the 3/32 hex tip on the screwdriver and bent 2 allen wrenches trying to remove it. BTW I move the front sight to the left to move POI right, Correct. Nothing wrong with the sights as far as I can tell. Pretty sure the gasblock is a little off center.

Edit: Ok I heated the gas block with my Dewalt hair drier. set screw was stubborn but it backed out. I only managed about a 1/16 movement between the barrel and the gasblock. hope that transfers enough movement on the front sight post.

                  BTT.
Any comments on moving the gas block? any guesses on what I could try next other than contact the MFG. I'll do that anyway but I don't see a need to return the sights and i don't see a problem with the MFG process. they fit the rail great.

Can you show us a picture of your setup and maybe a head-on picture to show any misalignment issue?

I don't have a camera. The woman that used to be my wife took everything not nailed down when she split last thanksgiving. I thought there was an old one in some stuff in the garage but that whole box is gone. I will line up a straight edge when I can and take some measuremets on any missalignments. But honestly i have a pretty good eye for things that are square and plumb or parallel or perpendicular. Early life as a draftsman and current hobby as a woodworker helps. And I looked, nothing visible to ......my eye......... can be seen. I may have to take the red dot off to take the alignment measurements which will suck because I just re-zeroed it yesterday. I cant do anything today or tomorrow but maybe i can run to the range after work Wed or Thursday. If the slight rotation of the gas block didn't help I will remount the rear to a different section of the flat top. I have been thinking and i wonder if there is too much finish on the rail and preventing a flush mount. I looked and it didn't show in my cursory inspection. I'll take a feeler gage and see if its different
