AR-10 upper check

I just bought an used AR-10 A2 upper. It looks like the guy just put all the components together right before shipping it to me. The sling loop on the front sight is missing. All the internals looks new.
Do I need to get a smith to check it out? Thanks!

Check the headspace.
Check the gas tube alignment.
Check to make sure the proper gas tube was used.
