    AR Duracoat do's and don'ts

I have an AR build all in pieces now and was thinking of Duracoating it before assembly. My lower and upper are stripped, are there things I need to mask or avoid spraying with Duracoat? I looked on youtube, but didn't find specifically what I was looking for.

i would mask the mating surfaces, and try not to paint inside the recievers. you will most likely need to dremmel the duracoat out of the holes to assemble the lower.

Just put a release agent in any threaded holes or on any areas too small to mark off. Guys have used everything from vaseline to playdoh to keep out the coating.
