What are the rules on types of stock one can customize in regards to the Remington 700 rifle? Any limitations on grips etc... I am assuming that since it is a bolt action, any form of "Tactical" look is still ok...???

I don't get your question... Meaning limitations as of laws against it or what's made Out there for 700 stocks? -
It's not semi auto so as long as you conform to OAL laws, you can have anything you want.JonahComment

I had the same question. I was looking to get the Bell & Carlson Varmint/Tactical stock for a regular 700 Tactical. It has a pistol grip. I've seen the Remington Model 700 Target Tactical with the same stock in many CA gun stores, but they cost a lot more with all of the features. I am ASSUMING that a pistol grip on a bolt rifle is legal since it is not a semi auto and many gun stores in CA sells them.sigpicComment

pistol grip is good to go on bolt action. I have a detachable 10 round mag on my Remington 700 that has a AICS 1.5 Stock.
Honestly I usually load the 5 round mag instead, but I have the 10 loaded for SHTF situations-Remington 700 .308, AICS Black, Bushnell 6-24 50 Scope
