bolt action ak guys??

Do you have trouble with extraction. I get about 50% of the fired rounds stuck in the chamber. The only way to get it out is to smack the charging handle back with a mallet. Headspace is fine and I put the spent rounds in another ak and the same extraction problem happens. I guess its time to drill the gas port.

Your sig says "FS AK mag Locks" and you're wasting your time with a bolt action AK? DRILL that gas port and start

My MD-63 is set up as a bolt-action and I don't have any problems with extraction, it's dated 1967 though and is well worn so that might help some.

I dont have alot of rounds though mine as a single shot but none of them and any issues.

I haven't shot mine yet. The bolt action conversion I have was designed by a CG member. He tested it and did not have any issues with it.
I like it so I can practice fast mag changes and charge the handle like in this video.http://www.ak47videos.com/AK_CQB.php .very good video!I highly recommend it! I didn't buy it from that store but it is the only one I could find with screen pics. I think I paid around $30 for it.

I just drilled the gas port and had no problems with extractions I went to Los altos rod a gun today and shot this 10rd group with wolf MC at 50yds.





I'll try bolt action later when I break in the barrel.

Its just a modified nds9 receiver with spare yugo, romy, saiga. fal parts I had laying around.

Polish kit. Shoot couple dozens Wolf ammo out of my bolt action AK. No problem to extract.
