    Question

I just bought a riser for my Barska scope my question is with the riser my stag model 8 is now to tall for my case. I was wondering what is the best way I can transport my AR, I would normally just buy a new cases but with me being unemployed money is a little tight.

any suggest would be appreciated... and thanks for all the help

With luck this won't degenerate into a how to transport long guns thread...........so:

If the range you frequent allows it, you can carry it uncased, muzzle up, bolt back with a chamber flag in it from the car to the range area.
Keeps most ROs happy. Trunk it to and from.

I feel your $ pain. When you have $50 order the Midway Pro Series Tactical Rifle case. Good case for the money, thickly padded, lots of room.

            guitar gig bag!
Cheap, tough, and doesent draw any attention. Plus it lets you pretend you are El Mariachi from Desperado

And the sweet sound of your rifle going boom is better than any guitar you could actually put in that case!
