Have a BAR 10 - Bushmaster OLL. Should I sell? And get M1A? Or improve the BAR 10?

    Hello knowledgeable friends,

I purchased a BAR 10 a couple of years ago. It has an AMBIDEXTROUS magazine release. So I must use a MONSTER GRIP. I don't really like the MONSTER GRIP. So...

    1. Should I just live with the rifle and the Monster Grip and appreciate that it has a quick magazine release?

    2. Should I get a "PRINCE 50" on the left side of the magazine release and a BULLET BUTTON on the right side? Thus creating a fixed magazine?

    3. Or should I get a new lower receiver? And maybe new upper? Without the AMBIDEXTROUS magazine release? Then bullet button option would be a cinch?

    4. Or perhaps I could sell it ($1,000? $1,500? $1,850?) and get the Springfield M1A? ($2,000? $2,500? $3,000?)

    Many, many thanks,

That looks very similar to the current production Rock River 308's.

I think you can easily fix it with just one bullet button, I would have to see it to confirm though. No reason to get a new lower as I'm sure I could fix the mag fairly easily if you want to run it w/o the monsterman.

I don't know how much these are worth but I will take a AR pattern 308 over an M1a anyday.

Thank you! Didn't know the Springfield M1A was a different pattern than an AR.
