    transferring 30 round mags

    If I sold my AR with my 30 round magazines...is it legal to a civilian if I disassemble the magazines?

      You should emphasize that re-assembling the parts kits into functioning magazines inside California would be 'manufacturing' a 'large-capacity magazine', and could be charged as a felony.
