Anybody got a saiga with a Bushnell TRS25 on it?

I'm thinking about getting one, but wondering at the accuracy potential...an yes I know i'm asking about Accuracy and an ak in the same sentance...please don't flame me!! Anyone have on on an ultimak with the co-witness?? Just wondering if I'll cook this thing if I go that route...thanks!

Would be used to shoot at targets from 25-150yards and possibly a carbine course. Thanks!

I have one mounted on a traditional side rail. Was a breeze to zero but have yet to push the pace on it with an all day outing and nonstop firing. I have not read a bad review of it yet. I do not co witness, no need to so far.

Stumbled upon this guy's video, read the comments below. He said he ran an all day class with the ultimak and bushnell, no negatives in his opinion.

Seems like it'd be pretty damned hot though.

I've got the Ultimak rail and TRS-25 on my Saiga conversion, went out to Spenceville and shot it all day. The gas tube was hot enough you couldn't hold it for more than a few seconds, but then again I only shot 40 rounds at a time (4 x 10 round mags) at semiauto. Unless you go full auto, i don't think you have to worry about overheating the optic. At less than $90 it does a great job, I'm not about to spend $500 + for an Aimpoint on an AK. I wouldnt worry about the heat as I would about the rain though. Check out the Vortex SPARC, it has a lifetime warranty if it gets damaged. The TRS-25 will be hard to beat for the price though, I was dead on target at 25 meters with both eyes open.

Anyone notice the comments about making ports on the ultimak; similar to standard AK gas tube. Thoughts on that?
