I believe your choices are:
RAW - Registered Assault Weapon
If you aren't LE/Military and didn't do it back in 1999, then this probably isn't an option.
Non-detachable/Locked Magazine
Install a bullet button like device or modify the magazine release so that a tool is required to drop the mag. This is required if the firearm is not a RAW (Registered AW) and has any "Evil" features.
Featureless Configuration
This means no "Evil" or "Assault Weapon" features. AW Features include: Pistol Grip, Flash Hider, Thumbhole/Folding/Collapsable Stock, Forward Vertical Grip, Grenade launcher (that folding stock is one of them).Last edited by Sniper3142; 02-16-2011, 12:29 PM.Internet Talk is Cheap

It only needs a bullet button if you have a stock with a pistol grip right?"Tyranny derives from the oligarchy's mistrust of the people; hence they deprive them of arms, ill-treat the lower class, and keep them from residing in the capital. These are common to oligarchy and tyranny."

The bullet button is so lame. Maybe they left loopholes on purpose."Tyranny derives from the oligarchy's mistrust of the people; hence they deprive them of arms, ill-treat the lower class, and keep them from residing in the capital. These are common to oligarchy and tyranny."

Listen to this guy! Also, if you have a flash hider on the rifle it will have to be removed if you're going to put it back in a standard stock for use with detachable magazines unless you want to use a bullet button.Comment

I can hear the theme song in my head right now...

Or a thumb-hole stock.
I'm going back through and reading your 47 posts after you posted something totally off-topic in my of my threads. While I am glad you are here, please make an effort to understand what you are talking about before you opine on anything.
It's better to ask questions, than to state your opinion on something, generally. The issue here is that "wrong opinions" put people in jail.
What you just said below could actually put someone in jail - so please - read more - and understand - and then - talk less. . .
Just slow down please.

How can that put someone in jail exactly? Dude mini 14's have detachable magazines, because they come with a rifle stock. Relax."Tyranny derives from the oligarchy's mistrust of the people; hence they deprive them of arms, ill-treat the lower class, and keep them from residing in the capital. These are common to oligarchy and tyranny."

If people are coming here for legal advice it's the wrong place. If that's going to get someone arrested than why don't you offer a concise explanation so that he doesn't get arrested. Otherwise relax dude. Anyone moving here with a weapon should check DOJ and state laws. It's not my responsibility to over explain something that should be common knowledge. You must be really fun at parties."Tyranny derives from the oligarchy's mistrust of the people; hence they deprive them of arms, ill-treat the lower class, and keep them from residing in the capital. These are common to oligarchy and tyranny."
