So you decide you want one of the newfangled rifles such as the ACR or the SCAR or the SIG-556.
My question: If you buy one and you get it with a bullet button. Do they give you the original mag release with it?
My thinking is if they do rid the state of the AWB or you want to go featureless, you now have to go buy a mag release for the weapon. These weapons are new and not accustomed to people purchasing parts kits for them like the AR where its easy to get any part you need. So that's the reason I ask, it seems harder to fix them, and it would seem some shops would be uneasy about supplying parts that could make an illegal config while the AWB is not lifted.
