    PlumbCrazy Lower owners I have a ?

there is a "pin" for lack of a better word on the PCF lower right in front of the recoil spring. This pin is preventing the upper from latching in place properly. The old lower did not have this pin. Is this pin removable ? I dont want to break anything.

I am posting this for my Nephew who is out of state, I don't have the lower to see what he is talking about.

    thx

Is this the "pin" in which you speak of?

I have a plumcrazy lower and have no problems. The only "pin" I can think of is the buffer detent, but it shouldn't touch the upper.

as far as i know every lower i have ever had has that buffer retaining pin.without it, it would be kind of hard to close the rifle while trying to hold the buffer in at the same time.if you cant close the upper half then the BCG is not in all the way,or the buffer tube it self is turned in a tad to far.this happened to me with the new tube i put on has no castle nut.i had to back it out a turn to get the rifle to close.

Guns should only be surrendered one bullet at a time.
