Two months ago I knew nothing about center fire rifles, in fact I honestly did not know one could own an AR in California. I dont remember how or why but I found this site and started looking through the gallery. I registered and started doing my homework. With the help of the forum I learned what makes an AR California compliant as well as what some of the popular brands are in terms of quality and name recognition.
At first I was a bit intimidated with all the components but with a bit more reading I was able to assemble the lower assembly on my own and was finally able to finish the rifle last week.
Just wanted to say thanks again for all the knowledge and a the people I have communicated with via PM
Build Details: 5.56/.223
Spikes lower (Zombie)
RRA LPK with match 2 stage trigger
BCM upper assembly (16in barrel)
BCM bolt carrier group
BCM gunslinger charging handle (medium latch)
DD 10in rail
Vortex strikefire
The hand in the first picture is my wifes and yes she helped assemble the LPK. She also went to the range with me this past weekend and loved shooting the rifle.
