LMT, DD, AND NOVESKE...What stands out?

Out of these 3 top tier companies for a DI rifle. What really stands out from each that if you had the money, you would purchase from?

Features and price. What do YOU want out of a rifle?

I don't know if LMT belongs in that group. Of those three, they are the only non "boutique" brand. That's not to say DD and Noveske aren't good, but I don't believe LMT is marketing to quite the same crowd. That's just how I see it.
They don't make a hundred different rail systems just because they can, and they don't sell the little trinket items like receiver end plates with their little logo etched in them...for $50. They don't sell special edition rifles with 24" rails and little flashlights attached to them.

So yeah... I guess that says a little about how I feel about funky rails and flashlights

Hmmm, DD makes some of the nicest rails available today, as well as rifles. I personally dont use a rail system, but they have their appalications. Strange post with no real substance. No offense.

It doesn't say DD doesn't make nice rifles and rails. It says they seem to market their stuff to a different crowd. Thanks for the critique, though

I'd go with LMT, by the way.

You know, just find one with the features you want - they are all fine rifles. I personally like Noveske's combo of a vltor mur receiver mounted with their m249 double chrome lined barrel. You might just get something like that and put DD rails and gear on it too.

Since you didnt mention purpose, a safe queen Noveske sounds like something I would like to buy from you at a later time

I think you get more for your money from LMT. A good example of this is their MRP line. Quick change barrels and a monolithic upper receiver. From what I'm told, their MRP and MWS barrels are provided by Rock which means you're getting one of the cut rifled barrels currently available.

I like Noveske, but I'm biased because I got a really good deal on mine. My friend has LMT and Bravocompany uppers and and they seem to perform just as well. Do you want lightweight, are you looking for a rail system, what length barrel, what type of gas system. Make sure you answer those questions before thinking about brand.
