Bolt carrier Tilt...whose is cured and whose isn't?

Wondering about this subject, which company has cured the tilt problem and which has not? Gas piston, sorry for not clearing it up.

Do you meant for a piston system or DI. So far the piston system is the one that had the phenomenon of carrier tilt.

I have seen and read that Adams Arms have redesigned their bolt carrier making it heavier and also has a "skid" plate. I don't think it eliminates it, just reduces and have better management. I'll be using the Adams Arms pretty soon and will let you know.

From what I hear, the new Addax ZK enhanced short stroke should nearly eliminate carrier tilt. You could ask Chris as he posts here.

They've had the new carrier for a while now. I have one in my upper and there isn't a mark on the leading edge of the buffer tube after a couple thousand rounds.
If you want to take even another step towards reducing/eliminating carrier tilt, take a look at the PWS enhanced buffer tube which has an extended leading edge for the bolt carrier to ride on.

Looks great but $$$ for a buffer tube.

Well, I don't think it's necessary with the Adams Arms system anyway, but it's a simple fix for anyone who has a system that does suffer from that problem.

POF makes one similiar to the PWS, but costs about $40.

So, DI was "dirty" but worked for years and years, and we've replaced it with a new and improved system that suffers from carrier tilt?

                      I am confuse.

This is the first I've heard of this. Then again I don't follow the hype about piston ARs.

I tested a CMMG piston upper with a rediesigned carrier. I saw no signs of carrier tilt in the test unit.

It was a hush hush thing for the beginning of pistons. Now they can't deny it so people know.

Some systems are worse then others but I am not sure anyone cured it as it is the nature of the beast.

The worst I saw the the Ruger. IT destroyed some peoples guns bad, actually took metal off the tower.
