That same upper from Noveske with a bcg is $1295. BCM sells 16" versions for about $1000 with a bcg. I don't think you'll get more than $800 without the bcg, probably closer to $700. I've never heard of OC Gunsmith.

You're within a relatively short distance to Randall at ar15barrels.com. I'd call him and see if he can make the changes you want. Or try local shops. I think you're close to riflegear.

Or just buy a new upper, it sounds likes that what you really want.

I agree with gmcal, taking into accounts the parts you're not including, probably around $700-$800.

It's not that I want to know who he is, just that you'll take a bigger loss since the upper wasn't built by a well know manufacturer/gunsmith.

Do NOT attach your bullet button tool to your rifle, seriously. First thing I would fix.
And that right there is why Featureless > Bullet Button.

I hope someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I was sure that attaching the bullet button to the weapon negated the use of a "tool" so his rifle is an assault weapon. I am the only one who noticed this???

I personally think the length of the rail is perfectly fine.....if you use the support arm out style like they show at magpul, but if you run a close in grip as it seems the OP does by the placement of the VG then yeah, a shorter rail would make sense.

i would take that photo down, as having the tool connected to your rife makes it a part of the firearm and you now own an AW.
