    SKS magazine question.

I have 2 SKS's. Both of them I bought in the late 80's. Only one was bought in CA.

They both came with 20 round fixed magazines and bayonets.

Sense then I have put 10 round fixed magazines on both of them.

Can I legally put the 20 round fixed magazines back on the guns?
and if I do, can I put my pistol girp folding stocks on the guns with the 20 round FIXED magazines installed?

    THANKS

No. You cannot have a fixed mag with capacity greater than 10. That triggers AW status automatically. Check the flow chart.
Then another horse PONY came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword. My kinda guy.

Did you register these as AWs? If you did, then yes, they are RAWs and can have either detachable magazines or large capacity fixed.

Only one has paper work. and no, neither are registered as "AW" or registered at all for that matter .

Thanks for the replies guys. I wont be putting my 20 round mags back on the guns then lol.

Ok, sorry for the ignorant question. but sense I have your attention. Are the bayonets legal to have on the guns? They are fully extendable.

Bayonet lugs & bayonets are 100% CA legal.
