    Alright.. Ar problem.

Okay, so I got a stag arms bcg. It's brand new. I installed it into my dad's ar and took it out shooting. Shot great! No problems and he let at least 400 rounds down range.

My father wanted me to paint the gun which I did and after putting it together, the bolt is extremely tough to open! When pulling the CH the bolt face seems like it's not rotating to open free. Looks like it gets stuck in the chamber. The bolt carrier would open until the bolt face is stuck.

Anyone seen this problem before? I cleaned the BCG and double checked everything. I've built tons of ar before but this is something new.

    Any idea??

Paint in the upper or on the charging handle, or anywhere inside?

Nope. No paint on anything internal or on the bolt/CH.
