S&W M&P Rifles with Factory installed Bullet Buttons

Tried doing a search, but didn't find anything on this.

I was looking at the 2011 S&W Catalog and saw that they offer a couple of CA compliant M&P rifles with Bullet buttons.

Is this something new, or have they been doing this for awhile?

Good for them. Hopefully all manufactures follow them.
