Is it okay to use air pressure to clear out the gas tube and is it ok to use the bore cleaning agents with ammonia on a chromed lined bore?

do more research, but yes and yes. I wouldnt set the psi very high on the gas tube though. I asked this question a while back and, well the general consensus was that unless your having problems, dont worry about it. -
Gas tube won't be clogged. Far too much heat and pressure running through it for anything to obstruct.
No need for any ammonia based cleaning in the bore of an AR. That's for heavily leaded deposits from unjacketed bullets, that you shouldn't be shooting from your rifle anyway."A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......CiceroComment
