One of the reason I chose this YHM Upper is because I do not like that AR15 Front Post sights. With this YHM upper, you have a choice of front and rear sight, and the rails for goodies! plus it's in a nice package and decent pricing. Not to mention $8bucks to get it shipped to me door. My avatar actually came from the YHM picture. That's how it's going to look, but with MBIUS front/rear sights instead.
*I just noticed the YHM upper is out of stock. I think they had 10 last night, and three buddies bought it after I showed them the website. Keep an eye on it, they'll put more in stock. That's what I had to do* -
man thats a sweet deal. Id get the YHM BUIS to complete the YHM build...Comment

I built mine last year. It cost me about $1000 and that includes an accessories package from valhalla armory.
AR-15 80% Lower receiver and jig set from lowerreceivers.com: $229
All other parts except lower receiver from Sarco.com: $465
CA legal bullet button system: $5
AR-15 Armorers tool: $20 (anywhere online)
At this point, after completing the rest of the lower receiver I've only spent $719, and I have a complete CA legal AR-15 style rifle.
But let's not stop there,
Lower receiver and jig:
AR-15 Kit:
Valhalla Armory "Get out of dodge" kit:
When I bought this package it was $250, not $299, so let's add everything up.
All above listed: $719
Get out of dodge package: $250
Grand total: $969 + tax and shipping (can't remember, but you can imagine)Comment

MBUS do break also.... plastic. I would look into a carry Handle and cheep fixed forward FSP before I used a BMUS as a primary aiming device. MBUS are strict back up sights. If used as a primary aiming system you need something alittle more solid. Well for a range gun and Home defense maybe not. As long as you are not using the rifle for extended periods of camping, hunting and hiking they should be fine. Just takes a bit more caution to keep they closed when not in use. One good side hit and you have no aiming system.
MBUS is a good choice too.Comment

Picking up my Spikes Lower on the 21st. Waiting for the upper and everything else through USPS in the next few days.
I came across a Youtube video of how it will actually look after I put mine together. The only different is mine will be a Spikes lower. I might buy a YHM lower to make a complete YHM Black Rifle....maybe....tempting....my wallet....it hurts....
