Russian Weaponry Museum Pics

I went to that military museum in St. Petersburg about 7 years ago. It is one of the best military museums I have ever seen. The WWII section is amazing with lots of captured German gear. The museum, an old arsenal, was huge, and filled to the brim with weapons and vehicles.
We were treated to vodka shots at 10.00AM, and given a rare visit to the cellars of the museum where there is a huge collection (several 100's) of miniature scale artillery pieces (including WW2 howitzers) that all work like the real thing, and the curator fired off a blank round which was seriously loud inside a cellar. Outside in the courtyard , there was a re-enactment of a pre-WWI Russian battle. Later that day we had lunch in the officer's mess on the Aurora (the ship that fired the a blank round to signal the start of the November Revolution: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_cruiser_Aurora
Well worth a visit to St. Petersburg, if you ever get the chance to visit Russia.
Life can make you do many things, even kiss a man with a runny nose.
